ACT Operations Research has more than 15 years experience on the Control, Automation and Functional Safety of several types of Petrochemical Plants: Polyolefin, Cracking, Refining, Ammonia-Urea among the others.
We have a wide experience working with EPCs and Package Units manufactures for End-Users worldwide, both during Bidding/Proposal stages and during Detailed Engineering. We also have experience for the development of Feed Packages.
Working on both green-field and brown-field projects, from design to start-up and commissioning has built our process and operation knowledge, enabling to propose control and automation functional definition in addition to the control and safety systems design.
The variety of Plants has also enabled our competences on several technologies of field instrumentation data acquisition and processing on Control and Safety Systems, both on continuous and batch processes including logistic facilities upstream and downstream of the plants, with all associated requirements of integrating a complex automation architecture.
We also worked on several Operator Training Simulator (OTS) projects and on the development of Advanced Process Control Systems (APCs), both with open and licensed process technologies.
