ACT Operations Research has worked since 2001 on the Control, Automation and Functional Safety of Oil&Gas Installations and Facilities: Crude-Oil extraction and refining, Gas Treatment, Gasification and Re-Gasification among the others.
We have a wide experience working with EPCs and Package Units manufactures for End-Users worldwide, both during Bidding/Proposal stages and during Detailed Engineering.
Working on both green-field and brown-field projects, from design to start-up and commissioning has built our process and operation knowledge, enabling to propose control and automation functional definition in addition to the control and safety systems design.
The variety of Plants has also enabled our competences on several technologies of field instrumentation data acquisition and processing on Control and Safety Systems, with all associated requirements of integrating a complex automation architecture over widely distributed production units.
We also worked on several Operator Training Simulator (OTS) projects and on the development of Advanced Process Control Systems (APCs), both with open and licensed process technologies.
